Fun Fact Friday: Layering Lippman Yellow Brick Road Jelly Polish

Have you bought a jelly polish, but realized you are not into jellies. Ugh. No despair you can use your jelly over a white polish, or a polish of a similar base color to the jelly, to make it an opaque creamy color. When I used one coat of Lippmann Yellow Brick road over a white polish the color was a creamy pastel yellow like that of Sinful Colors Unicorn I covered earlier this week.  When I used two coats over a white polish the color was a more vivid true yellow cream, closer to how the color appears in the bottle. So don’t toss those jellies, layer them. That way, whether you enjoy your jelly polish or not, you can switch it up and get a variety of shades with a single jelly polish.
